On Monday, March 1, IFCU will be launching an all new, state-of-the-art Online and Mobile Banking platform. With multiple ways to pay and an enhanced feature to connect all your financial accounts, we’re making it easier than ever for you to control your money.


In keeping our commitment to provide efficient and advanced banking services, we are upgrading our core processing system on Monday, March 1, 2021.

This is an exciting change for you, as it will greatly improve your banking experience. With the new core system, you will experience a wide range of benefits including better integration of the credit union’s services both online and within our mobile app, more functionality and personalized features to manage your money, and improved efficiency in our services. Overall, this technology upgrade will provide state-of-the-art systems to enhance the services and products we offer our valued members.

We ask that you pay special attention to all communications we send out over the next several weeks as we will share up-to-date information and instructions to ensure a smooth transition. Please review the key dates and below chart showing the availability of services leading up to and during our core system conversion weekend.

The core processing system is the computer software and supporting hardware that Industrial Federal Credit Union uses to maintain members’ deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards and online banking.

Gone are the days of multiple logins! Online banking, mobile banking and bill pay will be accessed by one username and password. To combine our online services, all members will be required to re-enroll using this initial login information:

Username: Account Number

Password: IFCU(Last 4 of your SSN) i.e IFCU1234

Online bill pay will now be accessed through your online banking with more user friendly features. There's no monthly fee, no minimum number of bills to pay and you can pay one or all of your bills. It's your choice. It's so quick and easy, once you try it, you'll never go back. Now with our Mobile App you can even pay bills from your mobile device! It's never been easier to pay bills. To avoid interruption of bill payments, please verify that all of your previous billers transferred into the new bill pay system.

Core System Conversion Weekend,
Friday, February 26 through Sunday, February 28.

All IFCU branches will be closed:
Saturday, February 27

Access to Online Bill Pay will be unavailable starting Thursday, February 25, until Monday, March 1.
There will be no interruption to previously scheduled bill payments.

Your debit and credit card purchases
will process as usual, and you will have ATM access.

Starting Friday, February 26, balance inquiries on Online and Mobile Banking, Phone Banking or at ATMs may not reflect the most current transactions. Balances will be updated by Monday, March 1.

Online and Mobile Banking and Phone Banking will be unavailable after close of business, 7:00 pm, on Friday, February 26, through 8:00 am on Monday, March 1. All three services are being upgraded and will require new re-enrollment and setup. Instructions will be provided closer to conversion.

The credit union will open at
normal business hours on Monday, March 1.

Mark your calendar.
Our upgrade will begin at the close of the normal business day on Friday, February 26. We will be closed on Saturday, February 27, and reopening for our normal business hours on Monday, March 1.

Print eStatements
All online transaction history will be reset during the upgrade, so you will not have access to view transactions prior to Friday, February 26. We advise you to log into the current Online Banking (Perfect Teller) and print or download any eStatements for at least the last 6 months. For questions about your account history, please contact the credit union for assistance.

Review and schedule any online bill payments and transfers before Thursday, February 25.
Any bill payments you have set up prior to Thursday, February 25, will process according to your scheduled date. Bills scheduled for Thursday, February 25, through Sunday, February 28 will be processed on Monday, March 1. Bill pay will not be available during the upgrade weekend, so we advise you to schedule any payments needed prior to Thursday, February 25.

After the upgrade:
To avoid interruption of bill payments, please verify that all of your previous payees transferred into the new bill pay system.

New Online Banking Platform:
 Users will need to enroll as first-time users and set up new login credentials. 

New Mobile Banking App: Users will need to download and install the new IFCU Mobile Banking app (available Monday, March 1) from App Store or Google Play. Then enroll to set up new login credentials or use their new Online Banking credentials. 

New Online Bill Pay: Previous bill pay history and payees will transfer to the new platform, however it is important for users to log in to Online Banking and verify payees and payment schedules. In some cases, users may need to re-establish payees and payment schedules. If, for any reason your payees did not transfer over, contact the credit union immediately to get your bill pay account redirected.

Updated Phone Banking System Audio Teller:
Users will need to follow the prompts to set up new PINs. Listen carefully for menu changes.

What is a “core system”?

The core processing system is the computer software and supporting hardware that Industrial Federal Credit Union uses to maintain members’ deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards and online banking.

How does this core system conversion benefit me?

As a result of the core conversion, the credit union will be able to provide:

• A more convenient and streamlined online and mobile banking experience
• Enhanced account access with additional security measures and controls
• More personalized account features and functionality to better manage your money
• Improved efficiencies in service online, on the phone and in the branch

Is my personal and financial information safe and secure?

Yes. The safekeeping of your account and personal information is the credit union’s top priority. Personal data and account information will be safe and secure throughout the entire conversion process.

Will my statements be delayed due to the conversion?

No. February statements will arrive within the normal delivery time frame.

Will branch hours be affected during the conversion period?

Yes. All Industrial Federal Credit Union branches will be closed on Saturday February 27, and open at normal business hours on Monday, March 1.

Will my account number change?

No.

Will my debit and credit cards work during conversion?

Yes. Debit and credit card purchases will process as normal, and you will have ATM access.

A note regarding Debit Card Balance Inquiries: Starting on Friday, February 26, balance inquiries may not reflect all transactions until Monday, March 1. Spending from debit accounts should be tracked carefully to avoid overdraft.

Will I be able to use the ATM?

Yes. Our ATMs will be available for use.

Will I be able to access Online or Mobile Banking during conversion?

No. Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable from approximately 7:00 pm on Friday, February 26 until the new online banking platform goes live on Monday, March 1.

A note about the new Online and Mobile Banking platform: The new Online and Mobile Banking platform will be accessible on Monday, March 1. The new IFCU Mobile Banking app will be available for download and installation from App Store and Google Play. All users will need to enroll as a first-time user and follow the prompts to set up new credentials the first time they log in to either Online Banking or the new Mobile Banking app.

Will I be able to make a Mobile Deposit?

Yes. Mobile Deposit will be available on Monday, March 1, when the new Mobile Banking platform goes live.

Will I be able to access Online Bill Pay?

No. Online Bill Pay will be unavailable starting on Thursday, February 25. Any bill payments you have set up prior to Thursday, February 25, will process according to your scheduled date. Bills scheduled for Thursday, February 25, through Sunday, February 28 will be processed on Monday, March 1. Bill pay will not be available during the upgrade weekend, so we advise you to schedule any payments needed prior to Thursday, February 25.

Will I be able to access Phone Banking?

No. Our automated phone banking system Sybil, will be discontinued on Friday, February 26. Your new phone banking system Audio Teller will be available Monday, March 1, for your 24-Hour phone audio response access line for all your credit union accounts - checking, savings, certificates, current rates and more.
