IFCU Membership
Our Credit Union is a diverse group of 30,000+ members and we want you to be one of them! When you’re a member, you’re part of a vibrant community who receives access to convenient services, exclusive discounts, and exceptional products. As a member, our earnings are paid back to you in the form of low rates, dividends, and community perks. It pays to be a member. Becoming a member is easy. Here are our eligibility requirements:
Becoming a Member is Easy
- Apply at any of our 10 branch locations. Call 888-564-4328 to make an appointment. Check out our locations here: Branch locations
- In-branch applications you will need the following documents on hand:
- Government issued ID: State ID or DL, Passport or Military ID
- Proof of address: correct on ID card, utility bill, pay stub w/ correct address
- Social Security card or letter from Social Security administration.

Eligibility
Don’t let the word “membership” or “join” scare you. We welcome you to join the IFCU family.
There are several ways to become a member.
- A deposit of $5 into a savings account and a one-time $5 membership fee is required to become an IFCU member, giving you access to all the benefits of membership!
- Is anyone in your family a member of IFCU? If so....then congrats, you are eligible for membership as well!
- Also, employees of our Select Employers are eligible for membership. This includes:
- Employees
- Volunteers
- Trustees
- Board members
- Immediate family members of employees (i.e. parents, siblings, and grandparents)
- Retirees of any of our Select Employers
- Anyone who does not qualify for membership through our Select Employer groups, or family, can join by making a $5 donation to:

As a not-for-profit financial institution, we invest directly in our members and return our profits in the form of lower rates, higher returns and fewer fees. In addition, we provide you access to free financial education and money-saving offers exclusive to our members.
